“It’s on just over three acres, which is unheard of in this area because of the price of land,” said listing agent David W. Richardson, of Hawaii Life. “It’s a concentration of a lot of wealth here.”

“For high-net-worth individuals, it offers privacy and a lot of room,” he said. “It’s an enclave of privacy yet it offers big views.”

The Keauhou at Makena subdivision, where lots range from 2.5 to about 5 acres, is slightly elevated above Palauea Beach, with sweeping beach and ocean views, according to published reports.

The 5,882-square-foot house has five bedrooms, four full bathrooms and one partial bathroom. It sits on a 3.14-acre lot.

The home offers easy proximity to the hotels, golf courses and other features of the Wailea resort community, Mr. Richardson said. “You can walk and be on the boardwalk at Wailea and in five-star restaurants in just a few minutes.”

“It’s directly across the street from a white sand beach,” he said. “It’s one of our nicest beaches and it’s very family friendly.”

There is not a lot of traffic on Makena Road, he added. “It’s a nice walking street.”
